Fit Over 40 All Levels Small Group Training:

A strength training series that will teach you the movements you need to maintain muscle tone, bone mineral density, increase flexibility, stability and restore core strength. Join me for 8 weeks (16 sessions) to create healthier habits to improve your quality of life.

Men and women lose 5-10 pounds of muscle tissue per decade over the age of 30. Loss of muscle tissue is associated with decreased bone mineral density, physical dysfunction and a decrease in metabolic function resulting in fat gain.

From ages 40 to 60 we could lose up to 20 lb of lean muscle tissue which is associated with unwanted fat gain resulting in up to a 60% change in body composition.

Strength training can reduce the risk of:

lean tissue loss

osteoporosis (decreased bone mineral density)

obesity

diabetes

heart disease

low back pain

arthritis

injury

dis-ease

While increasing:

physical function

maintaining independence 

strength and lean muscle mass

confidence

ability to complete daily tasks or activities with more ease
